Some pictures that make me smile

This is Matthew's creation with my oatmeal and refried beans stockpile.

Caleb loved it in grandma's laundry basket.

Daddy reads to the kids every night before they go to bed.

Daniel loves his Caleb Michael.

Ten on Tuesday

1. I always think of great things I want to write on my blog but then don't do it. I'll get better.
2. It is now four weeks since Danny got that steroid shot in his back and he is still pain free! Unfortunately, now that he can go back to work, his work has no work for him. It's time for a new job. My praying friends, we need you.
3. The overprotective mommy in me is rearing it's overprotective head for my daughter. And she's only in kindergarten.
4. My kids love to recycle.

5. I started following a great blog http://healthbeginswithmom.blogspot.com/. She has so much on keeping your family healthy. I'm really enjoying it.
6. I attempted to make a meal tonight from the above mentioned website. She does a "frugal meal" every Wednesday. It's basically just beans and rice. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to but I think it may be good in burritos. I love me some burritos!!!
7. We went to our first home group tonight. It was so awesome!
8. For Valentine's Day I looked up quotes to write on paper hearts and tape up on the wall.
Here were my favorites:
*If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?
*Love is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction.
*Grow old with me, the best is yet to come.
*Anyone can be passionate but it takes real lovers to be silly.
*Anyone can catch your eye but it takes someone special to catch your heart.
*For you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday, and less than tomorrow. (Sorry I don't have who wrote them)
9. I really have an itch to sew. I want to make one of Brianna's shirts that's too small for her into a bag. I'm hoping that I'll do it before the itch goes away.
10. At breakfast Matthew kept putting his Cherrios in his brother's and sister's bowls. I told him that his cereal belongs in his bowl or in his belly. So he lifted up his shirt and put a Cherrio in his belly button. So hilarious!

Ten on Tuesday

1.This is my first time writing "Ten on Tuesday". I'm just copying Stephanie. :) 2. Danny is still walking around with no pain in his back! We are so grateful! It's like a new life after walking around in pain for six months. 3. Danny had to have a shot in his eyeball last Friday. It ended up not being as bad as he thought it would be. I can't imagine watching a needle go into my eye. 4. We still haven't received a check from disability (very frustrating)! Danny should be going back to work next week. 5. Praise: I was so stressed about our insurance getting cancelled but everytime Danny would go to the doctor they would call kaiser and they would say he was approved. Danny finally called and found out that since he is on disability they will cover us for three more months. PTL!!!! 6. My brother and his family came into town this weekend. We went to Church E Cheese on Saturday afternoon- mad house! Then his three kids stayed the night Sat. night. We had seven kids here! A mad house again but it was fun. They boys played video games and us girls did makeovers.

7. Brianna is still sucking her thumb-booo...! 8. I love to hover over my kids when they are asleep at night and pray for them and just stare and marvel at the beautiful little people they are. 9. I think I'm getting a cold. 10. I am in desperate need of a girls night out.
